There is excellent lay leadership providing support for all of these groups.
All three churches have a significant proportion of senior members who are active in regular worship as well as organisations within the church and community, who are ably assisted by those who provide transport and other support. There is one nursing home in Rumbling Bridge, as well as sheltered and Abbeyfield Scotland housing in Dollar, where regular services are conducted in partnership with other local churches.
The linkage provides a special community, and the three churches support one another in many ways. The Church Newsletter Grapevine is published regularly and distributed throughout the linkage. A joint communion which rotates round the three churches is held on the 5th Sundays in a month. A St. Andrews Night Service that all the local congregations participate in is hosted at Glendevon Church. A Commemoration Service for those who have been bereaved is held in October. Other occasions for fellowship, witness and service are well supported within the linkage.
The three Kirk Sessions attend to the Business and Spiritual life of the congregations . Each Kirk Session meets 5 times a year mainly to conduct business and there are normally four Communion Services in the year at Dollar and Muckhart and two at Glendevon. The Three Kirk Sessions have also spent time in retreat together considering matters of common interest and in fellowship at joint functions.
